2. Core Principle: No Collection of Personal Data by the G3Link App
The G3Link app is a pure OSC-based remote app designed for controlling grandma3 systems. We are pleased to inform you that the G3Link app itself does not collect, store, or process any personal data from you as a user.
Your privacy is extremely important to us. All data exchange within the app occurs exclusively via the OSC (Open Sound Control) protocol for communication with your grandma3 system. No personal information such as your name, email address, location data, or any other identifiable data is collected by the app or transmitted to us or third parties.
3. Required Permissions
The G3Link app only requires network access permission. This permission is absolutely necessary to enable communication via OSC with your grandma3 system and to ensure the app’s functionality. Without network access, the app cannot perform its remote control function.
4. Data Processing by the Google Play Store
Please note that the G3Link app is provided and operated through the Google Play Store. Google itself collects certain data as part of operating the Play Store and app distribution. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Installation Data: Information about the app’s installation (e.g., installation time, device type).
- Usage Statistics: Aggregated and anonymized data about the general use of the app (e.g., number of downloads, activations, crash reports, device, and operating system versions). This data is collected by Google and provided to us in an anonymized form to help us improve the app.
- Device and Connection Data: Technical information about your device and internet connection (e.g., IP address) that typically occurs when using online services.

Since the G3Link app itself does not collect or process any personal data from you, there are no direct data subject rights (such as rights of access, rectification, or erasure) against us arising from the app’s use.
